See driving directions for detailed instructions based on your route. Public Transportation Bus transportation from Durham Area Transit is readily available from Duke Tower as well as easy access to Triangle bus service to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Research Triangle and RDU airport. The Amtrak station is nearby for intercity or interstate travel. We have also negotiated set rates for our guests when using taxi service to many points of interest in the Durham area.	Duke Tower Shuttle With rental car prices rising (recent surveys showed rental car prices averaged $346/week!), you may be able to avoid the expense of renting a car when you stay at Duke Tower... For our hotel guests, we offer a free, 24-hour shuttle to Duke Medical Center, the clinics, Durham VA hospital and Durham Regional Hospital. Shuttle rides to the Durham Performing Arts Center, Duke University, Durham Athletic Park, local grocery store, downtown restaurants, Brightleaf Square, Ninth Street and the American Tobacoo Campus will be $2.00 one way or $4.00 roundtrip. Unfortunately, we cannot provide service to shopping malls. For that, we recommend a local taxi service. We want to offer a good value for yor stay and so we will continue to provide the free shuttle to the hospital, but for any other shuttles, we have to implement a fee. Airport Service We provide shuttle service to/from Raleigh-Durham International Airport at the very reasonable price of $35 for the first person and only $5 for each additional person.
